Luscious red lips with a touch of gloss

Finish your makeup with L’Oréal’s ‘Colour Riche Perfect Red’ shade lipstick adding a fabulous contrast to your light skin tone ($21.95)

BEST OF MILAN Fall 2013 – the beanie conquers

There is a certain allure shining through the collections of the most notable Italian fashion houses.. Always one of my favourites to look at!

For this fall, the models in Milan are not only taking us into their designers’ unique world but also show us a good example on how to keep our pretty head warm for winter. Lots of beanies, lots of  designs to choose from for absolutely any taste and style.

Highlights of Paris HAUTE COUTURE Fashion Week S/S 2013

While traffic was slowly strolling down the snow-covered Champs Elysées, high fashion has bloomed all over the spring/summer haute couture fashion show catwalks in Paris.

The romantic garden sets, dreamy and extravagant collections presented by well-known prestigious haute couture houses have definitely made an impression. I’m sure they have not only taken me to a fantasy world but a number of celebrity stylists as well, hunting for the perfect red carpet look for their high-profile Hollywood clients.

Five Major Color Trends for Spring 2013

10 style ideas to steal from the NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Have you recognized the 70’s influence on the collections for Spring 2013?

In the 70’s American women were finally free to wear whatever they wanted and this freedom has manifested in the wide range of different styles.. mini skirts, hot pants, maxi dresses, wide legged trousers, hats, shiny, silky, flowing fabrics were all very popular at that time.

Browsing through the collections presented at the New York Fashion Week I’ve spotted some main color trends highlighted in my earlier post the “Five major color trends for Spring 2013”, in this one however I’d like to put together a list of ten great style ideas to steal from the runways of New York.

1) Translucent layers, long flowing dresses, light ethereal looks

2)  Floppy, floating wide-legged pants and jumpsuits, relaxed silhouettes, fine fabrics

3)  Delicate embellishment: romantic floral embroidery, dazzling sequins

4) Floral patterns

5) Mixed colors, prints and fabrics from head to toe

6) Architectural, digital prints

7) Stripes

8) Midriff

9) Hot  pants (with matching blazer)

10) Hats
